Little things...

I have picked up the dish towel off the floor 12 times this morning (and it is only 9am). And I started counting after I had already picked it up probably 10 times before that.

Jackson has snuggled up to me at least 15 times already this morning. I love how his chubby cheeks fit right into my neck.

Brooke has changed outfits four times, declaring every time that nothing fits her right, everything bothers her, and she can't find anything to wear. (can you say- PICKY.) I now have true empathy for how my mom dealt with Krystal and her indecisions and pickyness (don't know if that is a word) with clothes every morning thru elementary school. Wow, it wears on you.

Livy has asked at least ten times for a sippy cup of milk. (We are trying to get rid of the sippy cup...it is way too expensive with rice milk.)

I wish i could really capture Livy's high pitched-cute voice on camera. Because right now, most of teh time I feel like it is ear piercing and makes me go crazy, but lots of time it is cute too.

Brooke takes such good care of her siblings, and it such a good sport to put up with the tormenting from Livy-lou.

I am so glad Brooke has Maddy to play with in the morning....have I mentioned how i totally don't like PM kindergarten......

Motherhood is an adventure.

Passed!

Yay, Amber, Annie and I passed our big exam! We are official Foot Zonologists. Montana was great. Beautiful. Too bad we were in Lectures and tests all day and evening so we didn't get to do any sledding. It was great.

Just a taste.....

And I especially Love....

My amazing husband who bought me an awesome camera for a new year's gift (since we had decided earlier we weren't buying Christmas gifts....he found a way to get around that)!

This is the first picture I took with the new camera. Jackson at 5:40am (yes, a normal wake-up time these days.)

So now I have to figure out how to use this awesome thing! I am so excited to actually start capturing some moments of my kids!

I love....

I love that Livia and Sonja went straight to playing in the mud when they asked if they could play outside (even if Livy was wearing a white shirt, new at that.)

I love that Livy has two cousins that live close that are her age.

I love that Jackson LOVES books. Thomas the Tank Engine flap book is the highly requested one these days. Don't know where it came from, but glad we have it. (I think I owe the thanks to Jonna....)

I love that Ben loves his job.

I love that Brooke likes to tell me everything that happens at school...as long as I don't ask. She will usually open up the next morning and tell me everything.

I love that my exam for zoning is a week away (well that is a love-hate relationship. Love that it will be over soon, hate that I have SOOOO much studying to do.)

I love our neighborhood (i know i say that a lot, but really, I do....love, love, love it!)

I love that I get to workout in the mornings with great ladies. Even if I only got three hours of sleep with a crying baby the night before, hey, I was going to be tired anyway. At least this way, I am tired and exercised.

I love my new washer and dryer (new to me, that is)

I love that my kids have such an amazing relationship with their grandparents. (Nana and Punka, you are missed dearly.)

Life is good! No, Life is Great.

Girls Talk Too Much

Tonight we had a great idea to break in our outdoor fire pit (Christmas gift from Ashley's parents) by doing smore's for Family Home Evening. As I was lighting the fire and getting everything ready, Brooke was bombarding me with questions. "What is that for? Why are you doing that? When can we start? Where is mom? How come she is inside?"

Finally I think she saw my frustration, and she simply said "Dad, its like on Peter Pan when he says 'Girls talk too much!'"

That put a smile on my face.
