Fleeting ideas...

I always have grand ideas of everything I want to write on my blog and journal. And everytime I sit down to write something, something else comes up and I can never finish. And now I feel like I have so many entries in my drafts but the are all half finished thoughts and ideas. Does anyone else have this problem? Or do you just get used to writing small amounts at each time. It is so frustrating.
